Grace Mehan DeVito - Artist Grace Mehan DeVito was trained in the technique and style of the Old Masters and has a deep appreciation and respect for the insight, power, and humanity of the classic academic approach. She is particularly aware of composition, the disposition of light and color, and the handling of space. On a deeper level, Grace strives to capture the essential dignity of her subjects and provide an insight into their unique qualities. Grace has worked as an illustrator painting for such clients as The United Nations Postal Administration, The Franklin Mint, and The Ford Motor Company. She is the recipient of numerous awards including First Place, Peoples Choice, and two Honorable Mentions in The Connecticut Society of Portrait Artists Annual Shows. She has also been awarded a Silver Medal from the Society Of Illustrators, a Gold Addy and The Connecticut Art Directors Club Honorable Mention. Grace's portraits have also been included in the Catherine Lorillard Wolfe Show as well as the American Artists Professionals League Annual Show. Grace
received her B.F.A. from The School Of Visual Arts, New York City and
